This is a research paper I wrote in my Western Survey 2 course, detailing how the time period in which Bernini sculpted the Ecstasy of st teresa shaped the decisions he made on its subject and method of creation.

This paper explores Maddalena Casulana’s “Morir non puo il mio cuore” and the emotions therein, as well as how the piece still holds up in a more modern setting.

This is an OUR Research paper that i wrote and got funding approved for, I have yet to present at the symposium, though. This proposal explores the cross-section of ceramic sculpture and the written word, and how that can be communicated visually.
